American Parkinson Disease Association Virginia OPTIMISM WALK 2023

APDA Virginia would like to invite the Williamsburg community to come out for a morning of fun at the Warhill Sports Complex Stadium for our annual Optimism Walk on Saturday June 3rd. We are excited to bring this event to Williamsburg for the first time this year and would love to provide the greater Williamsburg & Peninsula community with a family friendly event & help connect the Parkinson’s community with essential health and wellness services and a chance to meet with one another. We will have concessions, music by The Burg radio station, games, a health fair, some prizes, an interactive mural, and will be walking around the Stadium to show our support for those fighting Parkinson’s Disease.

Those who register and donate can earn t-shirt, hat, or even a medal! This annual fundraiser supports the essential work APDA Virginia provides through education & outreach, a crucial financial aid scholarship for medication, and support services for people with Parkinson’s and their families across the state.
