Green Spring Garden Club’s Christmas Homes Tour

Green Spring Garden Club’s Christmas Homes Tour, Saturday, December 2nd, is thrilled to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Reverend W.A.R. Goodwin’s return to Williamsburg. In 1923, Rev. Goodwin also known as the Father of Colonial Williamsburg, would plant the seed that would flourish into the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
The tour will feature four houses in the historic area. In each, aspects of Rev. Goodwin’s life and contributions will be highlighted.
As a bonus, Bruton Parish Church has graciously extended an invitation for you to learn more about Rev. Goodwin by visiting the church and the Heritage Center located on Duke of Gloucester St.
Come and feast your eyes on the lovely seasonal floral arrangements that will be on display both inside and outside of every home.

There you will find detailed descriptions of each house featured on the tour as well as photographs from past Christmas Homes Tours. Green Spring Garden Club donates our proceeds to fund scholarships for William and Mary College and Christopher Newport University. Local middle and high school students benefit from scholarships to Nature Camp. Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown have been the recipients of funds for garden restorations and beautification projects.
