With events and activities taking place on our campus in Gloucester Point, VA and online, you can join us from anywhere!

As one of the largest marine research and education centers in the United States, and a global leader in coastal and estuarine science, VIMS focuses on the challenges faced by coastal communities around the world. During Marine Science Day, you’ll learn how our scientists are searching for answers to questions of global concern, such as ocean acidification and plastic pollution, and solving real-world problems with innovative solutions.
