January 19, 2025 @ 2:00 pm

Free

Have you ever tried writing a short story? What if you embraced a format that lets you experiment, take risks, and grow – without the pressure of a full-length novel?

In this practical workshop, you’ll learn:

How a smaller canvas helps you master story structure

How to craft a complete story arc in under 5,000 words

Why short stories can accelerate your author skills

How to use your short story to grow your email list

This free Williamsburg Regional Library workshop is led by Brian Forrester, the author of two young adult novels and an award-winning copywriter for a Williamsburg marketing agency. His newly released book is Color The Sky With Song. As a bonus, all attendees will receive a helpful fill-in-the-blank handout. For ages 13+.
