Alfred Hitchcock directed this gothic romance about a shy, young woman (Joan Fontaine) who marries an aristocrat (Laurence Olivier) only to find that he and his ancestral estate are haunted by his deceased first wife, Rebecca. The movie, which costars Dame Judith Anderson and George Sanders, won the Academy Award for Best Picture. NR, 2hr 10min
